Jaymes Swimwear S/S 10/11 Launch!

It is that time of year where swimwear label after swimwear label launch their Spring/Summer collections and I love it! Swimwear is something we all wear and it just gets better and better! Jaymes Swimwear was created by Gold Coast designer and model Jamie Allen. Jamie's swimwear is fresh and sexy with flattering Brazilian cuts in uniquely stunning prints and fabrics.

 Three collections, 'Get Seduced', 'Magic Spells', and 'Wild Nights', were all launched on a gorgeous Spring night at the Komune Resort in Coolengatta and it was a night to remember! The Runway ran down the center of the Komune's amazing swimming pool... with lights all around, beautiful decking laden with bean bags, the sea breeze and footage from the Jaymes Swimwear photo shoots running on a huge projector... it certainly was a sight to behold! You could close your eyes and smell the perfume of the sea and feel her breath touch your face, it was lovely! The relaxed and tropical atmosphere of the Komune could not be any more perfect for the launch of a swimwear label.... in case you hadn't noticed... I was incredibly impressed! 

I didn't manage to get a photographer to come with me that night BUT I did managed to get pictures from the lovely Brian Usher from Ocean Road Magazine! I have also put in the awesome videos from Glen Bowden of the photo shoots from the different collections. Enjoy!

"Magic Spells the last story of the collection has been a collaboration with artist Emma Sheldrake, her two bold prints 'Vauge' and "Thank god for Mirrors" have been the focus on the final collection, Emma has given the new Jaymes Swimwear collection a striking edge over other designers, a collection not to missed!"

My humble opinion.... 

Love it! It is fresh, sexy and innovative. My favourite collection is definitely Magic Spells. I love the prints, they are just so fun and different. The night of the launch was amazing and certainly newsworthy! The Komune was an awesome venue and thanks to the tireless efforts of Missy Robinson from Svelt PR the night went off without a hitch!
